I just finished reading SS: Hyperion vs. Nighthawk.
I must say that as well versed in digging up info and uncovering news stories, and as proud of that ability I am, this comic made me feel nothing but shame and contempt for my own ignorance. This particular comic dealt with an ongoing event that as the writer said “needs to be told. It needs to be told on television and in movies; on the Internet and in newspapers; in magazines and in books. It needs to be told at the dinner table and around the water cooler.
And, yes, it needs to be told in comic books.”
The event in question is none other than the Darfur Conflict.
